Burger and Fries Bowl

Coeliacs would relate to the challenges of finding a good gluten-free burger bun. That’s exactly why we’ve created this coeliac-friendly burger and fries bowl. No bun? No worries!

We’ve created this just in time for International Burger Day! So, our coeliac friends can enjoy a cheeky burg without consequences.

Gluten Free | Dairy Free

Serves 4

  • 200g potatoes, cut into fries
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 tsp salt
    500g extra lean beef mince
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp paprika
    1/2 red onion, finely sliced
    2 cos lettuce, sliced
    1 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved

    Sauce
    2 tbsp mayonnaise
    1 tbsp tomato sauce
    1 tsp Dijon mustard
    1 tsp pickle juice
    Pinch of salt

    Garnish
    Burger pickles
    Fresh dill
    Sesame seeds

    1. In a bowl, coat the potato fries with 1 tbsp olive oil and 1/2 tsp salt. Cook in an air fryer at 180 degrees Celcius for 15 minutes or until fries are crispy.

    2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a fry pan over medium heat. Add beef mince, garlic powder, onion, powder, paprika and 1/2 tsp salt. Cook beef for 4-5 minutes or until cooked.

    3. While beef is cooking, make burger sauce by combining all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

    4. Assemble the bowl by serving beef with the raw salad ingredients. Top with the sauce, pickles, dill and sesame seeds.
