Savoury French Toast

Sweet enough already? Of course you are. Enjoy this cheesy! Savoury! Low FODMAP! French toast! Can you tell that we’re excited about it?

Serves 2

    • 3 eggs

    • 1 tsp dried thyme

    • 1/2 tsp paprika

    • 2 tbsp grated parmesan

    • Salt and pepper

    • 4 slices of spelt sourdough

    • 2 tbsp olive oil

    To garnish:

    • 6 cherry tomatoes

    • Fresh parsley, finely diced

    1. Whisk eggs, dried herbs and spices, parmesan, salt and pepper in a dish until all ingredients are combined.

    2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly.

    3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat.

    4. Place the coated bread slices pan and cook until gold and crispy on both sides.

    5. While toast is cooking, saute cherry tomatoes in a separate pan wit remaining olive oil.

    6. Garnish with herbs and sauteed cherry tomatoes.
