Burger and Fries Bowl
Anyone who is following a gluten-free diet will tell you about the challenge of finding a decent burger bun. That’s precisely why we’ve created this coeliac-friendly burger and fries bowl! No bun, no worries 🤝
Serves 4
Ingredients
200g potatoes, sliced into fries
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
500g extra lean beef mince
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
½ red onion, finely sliced
2 cos lettuce, sliced
1 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
Sauce:
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp pickle juice
Pinch of salt
Garnish:
Burger pickles
Fresh dill
Seasame seeds
Method
In a bowl, coat the sliced potato with 1 tbsp olive oil and ½ tsp of salt. Cook in an air fryer at 180°C for 15 minutes or until fries are crispy.
While fries are baking, heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add beef mince, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and ½ tsp salt. Cook beef for 4-5 minutes or until cooked. Make sure the beef is evenly coated with spices.
To make burger sauce, combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
Assemble bowl by serving beef with the raw salad vegetables and fries. Top with sauce and garnishes.
