Burger and Fries Bowl

Anyone who is following a gluten-free diet will tell you about the challenge of finding a decent burger bun. That’s precisely why we’ve created this coeliac-friendly burger and fries bowl! No bun, no worries 🤝

Serves 4
Ingredients

  • 200g potatoes, sliced into fries

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 500g extra lean beef mince

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ red onion, finely sliced

  • 2 cos lettuce, sliced

  • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp pickle juice

  • Pinch of salt

Garnish:

  • Burger pickles

  • Fresh dill

  • Seasame seeds

Method

  1. In a bowl, coat the sliced potato with 1 tbsp olive oil and ½ tsp of salt. Cook in an air fryer at 180°C for 15 minutes or until fries are crispy.

  2. While fries are baking, heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add beef mince, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and ½ tsp salt. Cook beef for 4-5 minutes or until cooked. Make sure the beef is evenly coated with spices.

  3. To make burger sauce, combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

  4. Assemble bowl by serving beef with the raw salad vegetables and fries. Top with sauce and garnishes.
