Meet Your Sports Dietitian
Michelle Greenem
Founder of The Digestion Co.
Sports DietitianInspired by her own experiences as a runner, and shaped by years of working with athletes and active people in clinic, Michelle created Fuel Club to make fuelling simpler.
Every week, Michelle consults with athletes who are underfuelling, relying on the same meals and snacks day after day, or struggling to translate nutrition advice into practical food choices. While training plans are often mapped out in detail, nutrition is frequently left to chance.
Fuel Club was designed to bridge that gap. This is to compliment personalised Sports Dietitian advice, not replace it. Inside, you'll find athlete-friendly recipes, practical resources, and expert guidance to help you fuel performance, support recovery, and build a more varied, nourishing diet without spending hours in the kitchen.
Because good nutrition shouldn't be complicated, repetitive, or an afterthought.

No.
Fuel Club intentionally does not provide calories or macronutrient information for most recipes because detailed tracking can be unhelpful or triggering for people with a history of disordered eating, eating disorders or a difficult relationship with food. Athletes are at particular high risk of disordered eating and body image struggles, that can be amplified by calorie and macronutrient tracking.
Removing this focus helps members develop a more flexible, intuitive approach to fuelling and focus on nourishment, satisfaction and performance rather than numbers.
Instead, recipes are designed to provide practical, performance-supporting meals and snacks that athletes can incorporate into their everyday eating.
The exception is the Pre-Exercise Fuel module, where carbohydrate content is provided to help athletes match their fuel intake to training demands and practise race-day nutrition strategies. This information is presented as a practical fuelling tool rather than a requirement to track or restrict intake.

A speciality area of The Digestion Co. is supporting people with digestive concerns and food intolerances. We’ve carried this key focal point across to Fuel Club.
Many recipes are designed with gut health in mind and include modifications where appropriate. You'll find a range of options that are naturally gentle on the gut, alongside Low FODMAP modifications where relevant.
However, Fuel Club is not intended to replace individualised medical nutrition therapy.

No complicated ingredients. No unrealistic meal prep. Just practical fuelling made easier.
